NGOs in Ramalayam Project, Telugu States (Andhra Pradesh and Telangana)

Ramalayam Project is a bold initiative by 76 Non-Governmental Organizations (NGOs) to revive 29390 Ramalayam Temples in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana. The developmental process will be adopted in such a way that the socio-economical and cultural system surrounding the Ramalayam present in small villages will stay for next 300 years. 

Sevas Educational Society, Komatipalli, Vizianagaram, Andhra Pradesh

"Seva" means selfless service in Sanskrit (An Ancient Language), "Sevas Educational Society" is established on August 4th, 2006 at Komatipalli, a remote village near Visakhapatnam City, India. The society aspires to create an ideal village with the help of modern technologies. Sevas vision is to create an interactive atmosphere among researchers, organizations, faculties, students, employees, business people and farmers to develop villages. The society acts as a bridge between technology consultants and educated people staying in and around villages or small towns. 

Kancharla Foundation, Kandakur, Prakasam, Andhra Pradesh

Founded in the Year 2010 by Dr. Sreekanth C Kancharla, B.Tech., M.B.A., M.I.E., Kancharla foundation works on the strongest ties that write the community and the ethical principles. The organization operates in the areas of skilling, employment for youth, Rural Entrepreneurship, Women Empowerment, Numerous Blood Donations, Plantations, creating opportunities through Integrate Recruiting, On-Boarding, Health Camps, Rural Education, and Agro base facilities.Kancharla Foundation's aim related to society is not merely to provide the future citizen with means of earning their livelihood whilst to train them physically and mentally to bring out their full potential to live an enriched life. Our Earnest Endeavour is to inculcate the essence of social responsibility in the community to live ethically and sustainably. 

Magna Carta FoundationMusapet, Hyderabad, Telangana
Magna Carta Foundation (MCF) is a Trust formed with the purpose of ensuring protection of rights and ensuring distributive justice of all the sections of society, particularly those in vulnerable conditions and as the name signifies, MCF has been formed for working towards civil Liberty rights and ensuring distributive justice among all sections of the society Though the MCF was registered under Trust Act, vide regn. no.39/A/2019 but has been working since 2010, the team has been in human service, particularly with the purpose of ensuring equity across all segments of the society. Ever since its formation, MCF has been primary focusing on building a healthy, able and multicultural Society and working towards peace and harmony. Magna Carta Foundation envisions for building an inclusive society that prospers in harmony. A world where every one is loved and respected regardless of religion or caste, have access to food , cloths and a house within a caring family, access to education and health care.

SPERDS was established under Society Registration Act in the year 1997. Given the specific nature of rural and tribal people what is required is a micro level approach with thorough understanding of tribal culture as well as their specific needs. Being aware of general approach adopted for rural and tribal development and sensitized towards rural and tribal needs and the "exploitation"blues of tribal people, a few philanthropists ventured to address the specific needs of rural and tribal people in Telengana. This gave birth to "SPERDS". SPERDS is a social organisation based in Medak, Telengana. We work for children and women towards development of health, education, income generation especially on all round development of under priveledged children and women empowerment.

Mokshagna Children Charitable Organization (MCC). Srikakulam, Andhra Pradesh
MCC was established under Section 8 Company in the year 2021. MCC envisions a society where all children and women enjoy secure, healthy, enlightened lives and responsive environment that promote their social, economic, cultural and moral development. To actively contribute to the social and economic development of the communities in which we operate and to be an organization that continually respond to the changing social realities through the development and application of knowledge, towards development of sustainable society that promote and protects the equality, social justice and Human Rights for all.

People Welfare Society, Vijayawada, Krishna, Andhra Pradesh

In 1993 according to Society Registration Act 1860, the people welfare society was registered in Ananthapuram, Andhra Pradesh. The members of the People Welfare Society had decided to do services in all over south India. From 2002, under the leadership of Mrs N. SRILAKSHMI, many activities were undertaken to serve people of Andhra Pradesh. The aims of the society include establishing training centers to un-employed youth & women, enironmental awareness activities & seminars, women & Child activities, agriculture welfare programs for rural people, health & nutrition programs, rural & urban slum development, adult education development & against child labor, anti-corruption & right to information act awareness programs. 

Sri Liki Women Welfare Association, Visakhapatnam, Andhra Pradesh

The Sriliki Women Welfare Association was started in 2005 with an aim in community capacity building and issue based net working. The primary focus of the organization is on the problems of the downtrodden and economically poor women in their life struggle to obtain a life of justice and dignity. The mission of the society are Environment stabilization, food security and empowerment of the community especially women for self-governance are the most important components of its mission. Gender justice, natural resource management and livelihood security are our primary areas of concern. The objectives of the society are is to improve women’s access to economic resources by transferring life skills (e.g., access to credit and savings programs) and to enhance capacities to understand the situations and adapt life skills for securing their livelihood. Integration of  their life skill into ongoing projects. 

Rural Integrated Development Organisation, Chittoor, Andhra Pradesh

Rural Integrated Development Organisation was established in the year 1994 in the Chittoor district of Andhra Pradesh. The organization is known for its work in raising health and sanitation awareness in the rural Andhra Pradesh. Being concerned about the health of the young school-going children the organization has conducted several health camps in supplementary schools, celebrating nutrition month. Apart from their own initiatives they also undertake work entrusted to them by various other organizations. They have prepared a detailed project report on IWMP and have done third party verification on Indramma housing projects and community-based rehabilitation programs.

Rajamallu Education Society was established On 7th October, 1994 under the A. P. Societies Act. The Society in the last 27 years has scrupulously followed the 'Aims and Objectives' enshrined in the Memorandum of Association to provide yeoman service of providing education and healthcare to the hinterland areas of Chennur Mandal, Mancherial District (old Adilabad district}, Telangana, India. We aided and helped set up a Telugu medium school in 1994 in Kistampet village through the constant encouragement and mentoring of local unemployed educated youth. The school known as Vagdevi Vidyalayam recognised by the Directorate of school Education, Govt. of Telangana has grown both in terms of size and quality since. It has over 500 students and proudly attains state ranks in Board examinations. The school is currently an English medium institution in accordance to the local demand. The Society being headed by a senior obstetrician and gynaecologist since 2006, has served the local population through medical camps with visits by like minded specialist doctors along with diagnostic equipment in the area of Mother & Child specifically and other medical areas as per needs of the local population. The Society is named after the illustrious son of the soil who being a dalit himself rose from very humble beginnings to become the highly revered leader and represent the people as the Member of the Legislative assembly for 26 years from 1952 to 1978. He later became the Member of Parliament from Peddapalli constituency in 1982 and the Chairman of the SC & ST Commission, New Delhi. He passed away in harness in 1983. He was a popular, helpful and affable leader who was accessible to all. His Gandhian ideals of secularism, socialism, equality for all and upliftment of SC & ST through delivery of quality but affordable education and healthcare were his trade mark which found immense sync with people from all walks of life.

MOTHER (Motivation and Training Health Education and Rural Organisation)

MOTHER (Motivation and Training Health Education and Rural Organisation) is a charitable, non-profit organisation was established on 15th June 2006 at Penukonda, Ananthapur Dt, Andhra Pradesh by K. Ashok Kumar, M.Sc.B.Ed, MSW. The Organisation is known for its work raising health, education, ancient monuments and rural development programmes. It is conducted awareness camps on seasonal diseases, talent tests for young and school, college students. Also training classes in computers, olympiad exams and all other  competitive exams. It rendered services for Corona virus(Covid-19) affected patients and migrans free of cost distribution food, medicines, masks, sanitizers and food grains nearly twenty thousand people above. It is running an old and orphanage home for shelterless people. The organisation conducted many awareness and motivational camps on blood donations , adult education, superstitions, rural women literacy, govt schemes and acts. It is received many national and international awards for best social services.

Rampoor Yuvajana Committee 

Rampoor Yuvajana Committee was started in the year 2020 by A Nithin Kumar, an aspiring youth from Rampoor village, Siddipet, Telangana with his associates G. Santhoah Kumar, M. Nikhil Sharma, A. Ashok Kumar, Bikshapathi and SD. Rasool K Raju. The Society is working for the welfare of youth, since 2019 and officially registered under Andhra Pradesh Society Act in the year 2020. The aim of the Soociety is to develop younger population in villages. The society had started a Youth Club with less than 10 members in 2019 and rose to 74 members. The team members mainly works across  Siddipet and Medak districts and had taken up many rural developmental initiatives including Awareness Camps On Coronavirus (COVID 19), Organ Donation Camps, Blood Donation Camps, educational activities, Sports Camps and many more. The society also encourages cultural programs Like Bathukamma Festival, Sankranti Muggula Potilu and Many More. The society helped in renowation of Old Buruju With Trivarna paints and also conducted rural cleaning programs under Palle Pragathi Scheme. In 2020, COVID 19, pandemic, the society distributed Masks and created awareness on sanitizers to over 1500 people. The society also made Cricket And Volley ball, Badminton Grounds for youth. In 2020, Financial Year, the society was selected as Best Youth Society in the District.

Pragathi Mahila Seva Sangham (P.M.S.S), Nalgonda, Telangana

PMSS was established under Andhra Pradesh Society Registration Act in the year 1992. PMSS srives to promote Human Rights, Environment, Health, Education, Commumty based Rehabilitation to differently abled, Age Care and other developmental work through participatory approach To act as Catalysts for Child Rights, Women Rights and to render justice — social, economic, political and cultural without casting religion, caste, sex and class. The main objectives are to promote Society efforts for human resource development and to raise the socio economic status of the, poor by empowering them through education, self employment and by social Support services and undertaking the capacity building and capability Development activities. The society also tries to bring up a new generation of children, young women youthfully equipped with education potential to generate employment with quality and construction ‘imagination.

Rural Action for Social Service, Chittoor, Andhra Pradesh

Rural Action for Social Service was a registered under Society Registration act in the year 1997 at Chittoor, Andhra Pradesh. The objective of the society is to act as a link between the government donar agencies and the people so that the assistance of the govermnet and donar agencies, research scholars to those to whom it is intends and to establish to maintain and run a boarding hostels, hospitals and residential institions for the people of oldage, physically challenged persons, orphans and those connected with the instititions. The society also aims to conduct training programs for learning embroidery, tailoring and computering, conducting family planning programs, gardening and poultry for the development of women and also tours to historical places and pilgrim areas. The society also conducts different types of awareness camps on medical and health care, environmental, HIV, COVID-19 drinking water and sanitation, organic farming, natural farming and vermi compost. 

Radha Mahila Mandali

Our Organization was founded in 2000 by a Rural Development activities who aimed to form self sustainable programs for Rural Education, Skill Trg.Prg, Empowerment, reproductive health and legal rights, the Organization has sufficient Staff members and Organizational members. The Organization has created self managed women’s groups which build the capacity of women to create “Socially and economically self sustained women with equal participation in decision making of their respective families”. Currently Our Organization is engaged in a number of programmes, such as Beautician and Tailoring, Free education, Leadership development camps, Health awareness camps, Hand craft Activities, Income generation and Skill development activities, which provide socially and economically disadvantaged women.

Kankipati & Marella Charitable Trust, Hyderabad, Telangana 

The Kankipati & Marella Charitable Trust was formed in 2017 with the twin objectives of formalizing the philanthropic activities of the Marella and Kankipati families; and partnering with Government in their welfare programs. The Marella family forefathers had made significant contributions to various religious, social and educations activities of the Undi village and were instrumental in the development of the Ramalayam in Undi village. Their names are very much still revered in the village. Present generation of the family Kankipati Vijaya Bhasker (M.Tech, MBA, LLB) and Smt Kankipati Krishna Kumari (daughter of Marella family) have formed the Kankipati Marella Charitable Trust and enjoy involving in the philanthropic activities. The main objectives of the Kankipati & Marella Trust are to extend support for the various programs of Governments of Telugu states by partnering in suitable programs, to institute and award scholarships and support programs for the benefit of the needy students, to conduct and sponsor seminars, conferences, research studies aimed at creating and disseminating knowledge, to promote educational, sports, social and cultural activities and to support the existing institutions in furtherance of these promotions and also to advance any other objects of general public utility. Having exited the Professional career as a Business Head in Larsen & Toubro Limited recently, Kankipati Vijaya Bhasker is now poised to dedicate most of his time for the Trust activities.
